Education

Education

Life-long learning is essential for everyone to grow and thrive, however for older adults, it is extremely important because it supports cognitive health, delays dementia, enhances emotional well-being, combats social isolation through new connections and improves overall quality of life by fostering independence.

SWIRCA & More provides various educational opportunities for seniors and community members throughout the year that wish to enhance their knowledge and skills regarding financial literacy, technology, health and wellness, nutrition, and caregiver support.

As we continue to expand and evolve to the changing needs of our growing senior population, SWIRCA hopes to add additional educational topics to its repertoire over the next year. Please check back often as we add new webinars and in-person session dates.
