Giving the Gift of Independence

Seniors suffer in silence as one of the most ignored segments of our population. These are not strangers; they are our grandparents, our friends, church members, and our neighbors. As we age, one of the most fundamental elements of humanity, our independence, can be stripped away if no one is there to help.

SWIRCA & More relies heavily on community and donor support to supplement restricted federal and state funding. Your gift will aid programs such as Meals on Wheels of Southwestern Indiana, the Aging and Disability Resource Center, SWIRCA's Activity and Wellness Center, and Care Management programs.

Eighty-eight cents of every single dollar raised through donor support is immediately put to work helping seniors and disabled youths and adults get the resources and services they need.

Thanks to dedicated community support, SWIRCA & More is able to provide direct assistance to seniors and those living with disabilities in our community. In (2019), SWIRCA aided nearly (7,730) individuals through its Care Management program, assisting individuals with transportation, meal assistance, attendant care, and advocacy needs; served on average (644 ) callers per month through the Aging and Disability Resource Center; and personally, served over (140,681) hot, nutritious meals.

Through your generosity, SWIRCA & More can substantially enhance the quality of life for individuals 50 years of age and older, those living with disabilities, and their caregivers.
