Full Time Cook - Urgently Hiring!
$13.00/hour
Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm

Full-time experienced position available in a large, fast paced, commercial kitchen. The starting pay for this position is $13.00/hour with normal work hours being Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm (1/2 hour for lunch). Some nights and weekends may be required for catering special events, but pay is increased to $19.50/hour during those time. Other benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance, and a retirement plan. Must have a ServSafe certification or be able to obtain one within six months of hire. Healthcare background helpful. Must be able to perform heavy lifting, pass a pre-employment drug test, and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Opening responsibilities
  • Turning on all equipment, such as exhaust hood, ovens, warmers, , etc.
  • Load ovens and kettles
  • Count meat and vegetables
  • Pan-up for tray line and meal sites
  • Closing responsibilities
  • Clean kettles if necessary
  • Pan-up or cook off any meat for next day
  • Count meat
  • Assist with clean-up of kitchen including, trash, sweeping and mopping
  • Put away stock as necessary

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in high volume food preparation required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a commercial kitchen. Drivers license preferred.

Dishwasher/Food Prep

Pan washer/Food Prep

Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm
NO NIGHTS or WEEKENDS!

Full time position with good benefits available in a large, fast paced, commercial kitchen. Duties include: washing pans & utensils, prepping food & kitchen duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager. Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

Kitchen Floater

Kitchen Floater

$9.75/hour
Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm
NO NIGHTS or WEEKENDS!

Floater will work all areas of the kitchen during vacations/illness of staff. When not working in a floater capacity, deep cleaning or other kitchen duties will be assigned. Must have a valid drivers license. Will work mostly 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, need to be flexible between 5:30 am -1:30 pm. Five hours per day minimum up to 7.5 hours per day, $9.75 per hour and pass a background & drug test.

Responsibilities as Assigned

  • Assist on tray line as needed
  • Fill in for Kitchen Staff or Van Routes as necessary during vacations/illness.
  • Perform deep cleaning as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Clean fryers when necessary
  • Assist with kitchen clean-up at the end of shift including: sink, mopping, trash and sweeping
  • All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Flexibility to work between 5:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday-Friday. Hours may vary depending on the work load/need.

Care Manager

Care Manager

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

SWIRCA & More is currently seeking an enthusiastic Care Manager with excellent communication skills to join our team in the Case Management Department. This is a full-time position. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Duties of a SWIRCA & More Care Manager may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing options counseling to aged and/or disabled individuals seeking long-tern supports and services
  • Conducting comprehensive person-centered assessments on referrals who are requesting to receive government subsidized in-home services
  • Meeting clients' needs through advocacy and connecting them with community resources
  • Conducting assessments on individuals who have requested nursing home placement through the Pre-Admission Screening Program; and
  • Managing an on-going case load of clients receiving in-home services to ensure their care plans are current and meeting their needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Counseling, Health and Human Services, or Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state of Indiana; or any Baccalaureate Degree plus two years of approved care planning*
  • Effective oral and written communication skills**
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute**
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel**
  • Must be willing and capable to learn new computer software programs**
  • Current Driver's License*
