SWIRCA's Activity and Wellness Center offers daily recreational, educational, and wellness activities and is the primary location for all programs and events offered for area residents 50 plus. Enjoy activities that include a wide variety of evidence-based exercise classes, access to our exercise and billiards rooms, bingo, social events, cards, and so much more!! All exercise classes are taught by certified instructors and range from low to moderate impact. YOU can become a member for a suggested donation of $30.00 a year (scholarships available).

The Randall K. and Rebecca L. Craig Family Foundation Wellness Center

The Randall K. and Rebecca L. Craig Family Foundation Wellness Center provides a low-cost exercise room for seniors to receive additional fitness training, enhance muscle strength and stability, and meet personal wellness goals. Seniors can also monitor their blood pressure by utilizing the blood pressure machine.

Exercise Room_opt Open Monday – Friday  8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Exercise Room offers Treadmills, Stationary Bicycle and Recumbent Bicycles
*Closed during classes in exercise room. Call ahead for information.
Stretch and Tone_opt Wednesday & Friday 9:30 – 10:15 a.m.
The stretch and tone class incorporates the use of hand weights, Therabands, endurance, and balance training into this 45 minute class.
Tai Chi_opt Monday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Tai Chi is a mind-body exercise that was first used by Chinese monks to improve concentration and physical well-being.  Tai Chi includes low impact aerobics that combines breathing exercises with slow gentle movements.  Tai Chi is also a great way to work on balance and coordination.
Enhance Fitness_opt Monday, Wednesday, Friday – Early Birds 8:00 -9:00 a.m.
Enhance Fitness is an evidence-based exercise program through Senior Services in Seattle Washington.  All members of the class participate in a pre and post physical test.  This class focuses on stretching, flexibility, balance, low impact aerobics, and strength training. Wrist and Ankle weights provided.
Arthritis Class_opt Tuesday & Thursday - 1:45p.m.
Although not exclusive to those with arthritis, these exercises are designed by the Arthritis Foundation and focus on daily living range of motion movements. This is a great place to get back into exercise or to maintain health.
Chair_Yoga Monday - 3:00 p.m. & Thursday - 8:30 a.m.
Chair Yoga makes the practice of yoga accessible for those of all physical abilities and ages. The 45-minute class incorporates the fundamentals of the yoga practice. The magic of this class is that it is designed to meet the need of any yoga practitioner seasoned or beginner.
Chair_Yoga Wednesday - 3:00 p.m.
This class is a gentle form of yoga offering poses for those who can stand on their own and get to and from the floor safely.
